In celebration of 10 years in filmmaking, Rainforest Films hosted The Speakeasy, a throw back to Harlem Nights. The invitation was a modern classic. Annual Christmas Dinner Inviation

xmas2.jpg

For the past thirteen years, my friends from high school have gotten together for a Christmas dinner. Over the years, the dinner guests have expanded to college friends, wives, husbands and children. Sometimes, this is the only time during the year that we see each other and catch up. We are keeping the tradition alive!

This is the invitation for the eleventh year. It is a stack of three different papers with a ribbon to hang on the tree of mantel as a reminder. It was housed in a pocket folder and envelope.

This is a personal project

Claudia Lopez Photography

Claudia López is a phenomenal photographer. Her identity was developed from her red hot personality and passion for adventure, photography, alpine climbing and life. When creating an identity, especially one that will truly represent the individual, it is important to get as much input from the client as possible before starting design. The client/designer relationship is very important in the process. The feedback and evaluation of the work must be clear. In working with Claudia on photo shoots, I knew she was very precise and detail oriented, so it was important to create the same design experience for her.

Items designed and produced: logo, business card, letterhead, invoice layout, website graphics, thank you note, CD label and mailing label.

Mind Flex

Let Claudia López be your mindful coach at Mind Flex. Claudia’s successful ascent of Ama Dablam in Nepal made her the first Latin American woman to stand atop that peak and the first Colombian woman to summit in the Himalayas!  Life coaching is a relatively new idea, but very important for people who need that extra, outside push to achieve their goals.

Cool blues were used to create calm, while the different tones summon a ying and yang quality.

Lorrie Dallek is a freelance photographer doing travel, portraiture and still life photography. She had an interest in photography for 25 years and decided to get further training at the Creative Circus. Before Lorrie went out to pursue her passion full time, she needed a polished identity. Lorrie was very decisive during the design process, but needed guidance on color selection. Choosing colors that represent you and your work is a challenge. Lorrie is now confident in her new brand and ready to begin her new career.

Items designed and produced: logo, business card, letterhead, note card, mailing label, CD label, website graphics, printed portfolio layout structure and portfolio name plate.

Susan Graham Signature Events

Susan Graham Signature Events….Events Styled & Orchestrated to Perfection is owned by Susan Graham, who has twelve years experience planning fabulous corporate and social events. Susan already had a established planning business called Bella-Sera. While Susan will still oversee the operations and events managed by her staff at Bella Sera, she will offer her personal attention to a limited number of engagements under Susan Graham Signature Events (SGSE). Working with existing materials and designs for Bella-Sera, the new identity for SGSE needed to reflect Susan’s unmatched event styling and high level of professional service. A logo and stylish business card was created as well as a series of marketing emails. For an added level of posh, the business cards were letter pressed on specialty paper.

Susan also needed an complimentary brand for her new career series and apprentice program, Kickstart Your Career in Wedding Planning. This high-end, hands-on career series is targeted to aspiring wedding and event planners with the aim of equipping them with real and practical information to pursue their dream jobs. A logo and downloadable information package was designed to promote the program.

Susan was recently named in “The Knot Best of 2007″ in the Atlanta Event Planners category by readers. She serves as the Wedding Consultant Local Expert for the Atlanta Bride & Groom Planner and has been featured in I Do for Georgia Brides, Atlanta Weddings, Bride’s Atlanta and Caribbean Bride magazine.
